Paris Fashion Days: Armenian Models Gracing the Paris Runway
Held across March 6 and 7, Paris Fashion Days unfolded across two distinguished venues in the French capital, each reflecting the essence of the collections presented. The opening day took place at InterContinental Paris Le Grand, a landmark synonymous with Parisian elegance and heritage, while the second day continued at Hôtel Le Marois, known for its refined and intimate atmosphere.
Bringing together a diverse selection of international designers, the event provided a platform for unveiling Fall/Winter 2026 collections. The runway presentations revealed a dynamic interplay between contemporary design and couture-level craftsmanship, highlighting both technical mastery and artistic vision.
Among the participating designers were AKEL Couture, Elsa Fairy by Iryna Mykytiuk, Naz Maer, Kanon by Yuna Hattori, Rafael Urquizar, reflecting the event’s distinctly international character.
Two Armenian models, Kamila Margaryan and Diana Lepejyan, graced the runway at Paris Fashion Days on March 6 and 7. The Armenian talents presented collections by AKEL Couture, Rafael Urquizar and Kanon by Yuna Hattori, bringing a subtle Armenian presence to the Paris runway.
Both models represent Gold Star Model Academy, managed by Maria Gharibian, who has herself participated in Paris Fashion Days in previous seasons. Reflecting on the experience, Gharibian said, “Walking these runways is an experience of growth. It’s not only about the show — it’s about understanding the craft, connecting with people, and evolving as a model. I hope to see more Armenian models join in the future.”
The event was produced by Zoriana Semenyuk with fashion direction by Rina Patel, whose vision guided the selection of models and the overall runway presentation.
On her inspiration behind Paris Fashion Days, Patel explained, “What inspires me most is seeing how fashion connects people. Every designer brings their own story, culture, and energy, and it’s such a privilege to help create spaces where those voices come together. We’re still growing, and every event feels like a new opportunity to celebrate creativity, collaboration, and the beauty of global fashion.
I particularly value the opportunity to work with Paris Fashion Days, as it offers increased visibility for emerging models on an international stage".
Her words underscore the philosophy behind the event - creating a platform where emerging and established talents come together to celebrate the artistry of fashion.
